Directions-
The shelter is located south of Clarinda, off U.S. Highway 71. Turn east on LaPerla Drive, following the "Airport" Signs.  Look for 12th Street on your right, (south), and take the very next right turn on gravel. Follow this gravel road almost to the end, the shelter is on the right, a brown & tan building next to the City of Clarinda impound lot, and yard waste grounds. A large sign in front identifies it as the CITY OF CLARINDA ANIMAL SHELTER
